Therapy
my sister and i fell out today. usually i get pretty upset but then i get over it pretty soon as time passes or with some sleep. but i think the recent happenings has built up quite a tension within me that i got really frustrated that we cannot communicate with each other. and at times when i feel this way - i go for a
haircut.
then alot of people will start thinking it's insane because like what if i screw up my hair and regret it etc etc etc. but i find haircuts therapeutic. Even when i'm in a good mood, when i go for a haircut i feel as if i'm in a spa. hahahaha. and i still can think rationally when i go for my haircuts, not like some people who gets emotional and chops off their long hair etc etc NOOOOOOO i don't do that. if i ever chop hair off it's because i really want it chopped, regardless whether i am happy or sad.
WELL. errrrm. i had Uruha's DIM haircut when i last cut my hair in Japan. the asymmetrical length and all. but i cut it off - so no more asymmetrical tail at the end. length wise mm, just abit shorter, not noticeable. my layers did go much shorter though. I also colored my hair to this reddish brown. So when it was done it kind of reminded me of Uruha's hair in Neogenesis 36? the first time DIM appeared. yeah that hair color. i have a shorter version of that hair now. and my color's abit redder and darker. but i was told after a few washes it'll be brighter. and as the red fades it'll abit more yellowish.. so as time pass it should look more likke uru's neogenesis36 color.
CAMERA SUCKS SO NO PICTURES. will take some when i do my hair and when i'm happy enough to take pictures.
lastly, i tried studying but procrastination took over me. so byebye studies. wasted another day. Not to mention my readings are just piling up... like, like.. erm. OH, LIKE
STACKED RUBBISH -throws confetti because i found the best phrase-
ok cheap thrill. LOL.

Thank You.
my letter to Uruha got translated today.
I just clicked "send" about a few minutes ago, at his blog.
I wonder when he will have the time to read it, since it's in the middle of tour.
Not to mention how many thousands of fans out there sending fanmail to him at the same time...
Anyway,
i really want to thank
Yuanshan for this.
She wrote me a message in her blog that made me cry for one whole hour.
She got her friend to ask a favour from
another friend to translate my letter into Japanese properly... and when she told me it's done and sent the file to me i cried for another hour.
Thank you so much girl... I mean you could have said no to such a fan-crazed attempt of mine. Thank you so so so so much I owe my life to you now.
Omg haha... i'm going to cry again. lol.
Thank you
bamboobranch for helping me.
It was such a big favour, i literally treated it like my only hope.
And I had no idea your friend was a professional translator!
Even just the thought of my words being put into the correct meanings gave me such a huge relief. Please thank your friend a thousand times for me! It is really important to me. hontoni arigato gozaimasu.
Sidetrack: I also request for people who are not using LJ to join LJ~ i'm going to start posting stuff there as well.
It may sound foolish or stupid... but two days ago when the bomb was dropped on me... the first person i thought of was U-sama. names only flooded into my head when i was literally searching for all the options I had to contact him. It felt like a desperate, foolish and vain attempt, but out of the same desperation i felt the need and the urge to try it.
To put it bluntly, i felt like he was my only hope.
and the closest thing I have with me now is the sound of his guitar. haha, crap, i'm inconsistent. just hours ago i said i'm not obsessed with them. i am so going to contradict myself but lol, i'm just going to face it.
i'm in love with Uruha.

ANYWAY, my point is...
...THAT IS SUCH A HOT DUDE.
i want him as my boyfriend.
there! i am convinced i am not that obsessed with them. HAHAHA. i mean, i don't need the real thing... just get me someone that looks like that? with that charisma and all. omg my doll has charisma HAHAHA.

the GazettE Artbook
as promised, the pictures of my artbook!

So when it arrived, it was all packed into this wonderful, beautiful box. I was so careful with it when i was opening it up omg. hahaha.

The 5 postcards that came with it! It's super pretty omggggggggggg. i love the uruha one!! it's so arty! not being biased here... lol.

The 2nd part of the bonus from buyin the artbook - the posters! They made each member's cover picture into posters for us. wee.

took individual photos of their posters! Ruki - Uruha - Aoi - Reita - Kai. the posters are huge, and clear, and very nice. omg la. sigh no place to stick them. anyway i find them too precious to stick too. ugh. lol.

and finally, the artbook! (and yes i have superman-blue nails now fufufu) i'm just gonna spam you all pictures of some of the pages inside alright! So tada~:
Start of The World of Art Where Individual Center Was Expresed

The pages are thick, very clear and vibrant printing. Very, verrrry beautiful~ I really really love the buy! ahhhhhhh. The whole package is so wonderful.
Anyway, i know this post is very very less wordy compared to my usual... Well i'm not exactly in the right mood today. Something pretty personal and bad happened today, despite me receiving the artbook. So it was kind of like an emotional rollercoaster ride, one min happy and another i was depressed and lost.
千の棘を喉にあて問う 俺に何が救える?
In my throat, there are thousands of questions that are like thorns;
I'm asking, "What can I save?"
the GazettE - Without A Trace
After hearing this, i couldn't stop crying. i cried for hours.
And I always thought, one day, when i write my first fan letter to Uruha, it will be a letter filled with happiness, excitement, admiration and love.
...But i wrote the first letter today. And it was one filled with helplessness, sorrow and desperation.

More GazettE Stuffzxz
Okay. it happened again zzz. i went to school and then the postman came but my mum was still pigging so they left a delivery notice. THIS TIME. I AM VERY SURE.
IT IS MY ARTBOOK. i was so pissed i can't get it today and have to wait till tmr and now my poor book is suffering in the post office with no love, warmth and shelter from me after such a traumatic plane ride alone
and i totally made those emotions up hahaha but i believe soBUT! the very clever me went to peek at the mailbox when i came back from school before taking the lift up. and i saw that the letters were kind of 'elevated' and so i know there is something there! if not it was just tons of letters to my house. but fufufu i was right!! my purchase of the photoset is here. lol. opened the mailbox when i went holland village to buy meiji milk.

this cheered me up a little~ so amazing how these boys can make my mood fluctuate so easily. lol. i love them so much ♥
From the Distorted City Tour 2008 Photoset - i secretly love their LEECH look despite how fried they look after awhile... i mean Ruki looked super cool and cute, until his hair got fried while re-perming. And i've seen very, very beautiful shots of Uruha in LEECH too... when i saw that face of his in the photoset i was like "OMG I AM BUYING IT..." and... LOL. yay. i was abit LOL-ing about ruki's hair though. (btw his hair looks as fried as this now. LOL. i saw the live photos on HERESY, OH AND KAI HAS
DREADLOCKS!)
Distress and Coma sticker and a 2009 New Year Card from them, with LEECH costumes ^^

and these are the bonus from my buy!
Pulse Wriggling to Black 02 Ruki photo,
Decomposition Beauty Tour Final: Meaningless Art That People Showed Tour 2008 Reita Photo and a Reita [Cassis Era] photo. LOL. why so much Reita-ness. Anyway,
YI TENG i am giving you the Cassis Reita photo cos i know that's when u first thought Rei Rei is cute HAHAHA

I went to the Natsumatsuri Celebrations on Saturday. Saw quite a number of people in Yukata, but i was quite thankful i wasn't in one cos it was sooooo hot and crowded! ANYWAY, i saw a damn pretty japanese girl!! omg!! managed to have a photo of her but somehow she don't look that good in it? anyway she's the one in the middle. Hehehe.
Okay, wait for my post about my Artbook tmr okay!! when my mum gets it for me from the post office. Anyway, i was also informed by Yuanshan who went to Kinokuniya (Takashimaya) that the artbook i ordered is available for sale there at
SGD$112. The Artbook, if you are not aware of it, is the collection of
Arena37C Special of all 5 the GazettE members when they did their invidividual photoshoots and interview (i believe it's a 40page special for each boy's cover). This artbook will include never before seen shots too. Also, it will be packed into a very nice logo printed gazette box with also 5 posters and 5 postcards. Picture (got it from some eBay seller):

People who received the artbook also commented that the printing is very, very clear and detailed, and much better than what they expected to the extent that if you have all 5 magazines, it is still worth buying the artbook. This artbook is also hardcover. I paid around
SGD$150 because this book was only available to Japan domestic orders, and i never thought Kino will bring it in. So if you're a fan, and you have the money, i'd say grab it!!! it's quite a piece of art, even if u don't fancy the boys' faces because in all these they were asked to express themselves as individual artists, with their own concept. Also, each Arena37 Special costs like what, 20plus near to 30dollars? So if you never bought the 5, if you think about it, it's really worth it. AND AND! if you are not aware, Kinokuniya is having
20% off storewide for members until 31st aug. so anyone who wants this and wants a 20% but no membership card, JUST TELL ME! i will get you your artbook. LOL!
Well anyway, i will show pictures of the artbook when i receive it tmr! my friend only saw ONE,
ONE artbook on display in kino... so i'm not sure how many they actually brought in. I don't think it's alot, considering the fact CDJapan's stock sold out within 3 days. So yeah.

I AM PART OF THE 「HERESY」
I got a note from Singpost ytd cos my mother wasn't around to collect the package. At first i thought it was my artbook, so i told my mum to help me collect it at the post office this morning while i go to school... so when i came home, i saw this on my bed:

and to my surprise! it's not the artbook! i was like, "eh? envelope?" and then i saw that watermark on the paper.
HERESY's official symbol. i literally screamed and ran up and down my house for a few minutes, doing a few aoi-highness jumps in between.
MY FORM AND MONEY REACHED THEM SAFELY!!! Hence now, i am proud to say:
大日本異端業社のメンバー
Member of 「HERESY」
LAYLA TAN!
fufufu. now i happily striked out another item on my wishlist. shiawase~ for those who are in a blur now. HERESY is the GazettE's official fanclub. HAHAHA! so the first thing i did was take a pic of my first HERESY package hehehe!

I got my first issue of the fanclub's magazine,
GARISH ROOM and i will get one every 3 (or 4?) months. OH OH! in the magazine, i saw uru using a VAIO. u dono how happy i was when i saw that. LOL. don't know if it's his, but yay for vaio!!! LOL! I also got my pouch HEHE in GOLD! is there like colours for each member? i read it somewhere. well anyway, whatever it is, GOLD is definitely Ruki's. and even if there's only one color, then it's still Ruki's idea fufufu! However if there is a specific color for each member, i'd really like a purple [Uruha] one T^T

and here's my shiny, gorgeous HERESY membership card *___* so pretty!!! ahhhh. so i got the password too, and the first thing i did was stalk the gazeboy's blogs. HEHEHE. i cant understand most of the stuff... but it's great to see pictures, and even them just updating, staying connected to the fans. It's awesome!!! i also saw some live pictures from the different lives that were already held. Reita-kun had a bandaged middle finger =/ i wonder if he recovered... but LOL yeah it was funny. but it's great to see he still give his all ^^
Besides all the HERESY excitement, i also received my ebay and other online shopping stash not long ago! but i was just too lazy to take photos and blog about it. so now all hyped up and everything, i finally took photos fufufu.

That's some past issues of
Rock & Read icluding the latest Kai cover issue. and YESSSS i got the superultramegarare Rock & Read Vol 5! woooooooo. I will be receiving the Reita and Aoi cover issues soon too, and also the Uruha on pending order with my cousin. Then i'll have the whole complete gazette Rock & Read set.
beside the stack of R&R, you see a
Zy. Mega Edition #06 where it collects all of the GazettE's past articles with Zy. magazine. 171 pages of gazette goodness! so now i have the whole collection of gazette Zy. articles too, since i bought Zy.47 some time ago. ^^

I also got a Uruha clear file (to bring with me to school next time! *O* so i will never miss him LOL) and the ebay seller printed a free stash of photos for me too! yeahh. filled with tons of gazette goodness in me now! i'm a happy girl ^^
but then again... i think my mum's killing me next month when the credit card bill comes. i owe her far too much this month. ugh. hahaha! crap.
also... i'm thinking of painting my room? i'm no longer in the green yellow mood. I don't know if i will have the time tho, since i need to clear the stuff in my room in order to paint it. I will see how it goes...

The Room of my Soul.
Your Soul is Communicative
You are quite expressive and thoughtful. You see the world in a way that others are blind to.
You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds.
You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.
Your near future is likely to be filled with great successes and accomplishments. You just need to figure out how to get there.
For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

fufufu. what do you guys think? i think it's rather accurate. but it is something very brief. ahaha.

Tune the Body Clock yo!
went for a picnic with my JC orientation group mates yesterday morning. ahhhhhhh. it's been so long since i last saw some of them. uhhh~ we had it at marina barrage. Ahaha. and then i left after awhile to rush to town for my japanese class.
So i took my japanese exam. the oral test was okay, i felt that it was easier than ele1's oral test. i have no idea why but yeah. then for the written test i was abit in a trance-like state. HAHA. well results will be out tmr so i'll just see how it goes! well honestly i didn't study for the exam.. i was too distracted by all the Uruha goodness xD fufufu. just hope i pass it omg =/
Went to Toycon at suntec city with cousin today. mmm nothing much. had lunch/dinner at Waraku, marina square. then we headed to her place and started digging out all the photos for some inspiration for our upcoming project HAHAHA. yeah that's about it.
well a little boring. nothing interesting... but yeah. shrugs. i'm tired tho. not used to waking up so early. ughh.
OHHHHHHHHH and my chibi Uruha revived! YAY. mama loves you! please people, feed him more love! he will grow into an adult soon!!!!

POST-FIRST WEEK
i've been anti-social.
yes i have been anti-social. i mean how are you supposed to mingle and socialize during lecture? for modules that i've been taking without any friends i know of taking the same module, i just went there and sat there and go home. fufufu. i guess the socialising only comes about when you have tutorials later on.
Well anyway, it's my japanese exam tmr
-dead- i'll be spending my day studying at home since i've got no school today. Hopefully i will remember all the stuff I need to remember. Bah.
Cousin sms-ed me yesterday, telling me i'll be going Singapore's Natsumatsuri with her. HOHOHO. will i be in a yukata btw cousin?
we also had a small talk about passion and what you do best in. Recently we've been having alot of such discussions, in which we see our two very different perceptions towards things. It's not a bad thing, as in there's no tension there. We kind of have our own perception but we understand why the other party thinks that way too.
Arena37 did a live report on the Ichikawa DIMSCENE live i attended!!! omg. i'm so buying that issue. Although it's only 4 pages of gazette, this is too memorable. I have to buy it. I've alr seen the scans (thanks again to gazette_daily!) and ohmygodddd. I was really reliving every moment in those photos. I almost teared when i saw that it was Ichikawa's live report. I mean, they could have done like Osaka or something. And recently i've been reliving too many moments of it. I have to like control myself (laughs)
I also read this really, REALLY interesting radio translation. It was Aoi and Ruki (as guest) on Holy Hock Radio. Ohmygod (bursts out in laughter) it was really really LOL. i bet that two men were in quite a dirty mood when they did that radio show. and it was broadcasted over radio, everywhere! ohmygod (bursts out laughing again) fufufu ling! Ruki has feet fetish HEHEHE. and he has been reading erotic magazines since elementary school. I think you'll just die reading that previous sentence BUT i'm still telling you anyway HAHAHAHA (continues laughing)
i've been laughing about that radio translation for 2 days straight alr. It's just too funny and interesting. I can read that forever and still burst out laughing it's like the funniest thing on Earth HAHAHA they are such dorks i swear. And even Kai has let out his pervy side a few weeks back. It's really left with Uruha to SAY it out, that he has his dirty moments too (bursts out laughing again)
Can't blame them, Aoi has already hit 30 you know. They are all, well, normal straight men (told you non-Jrockers they are not gay!!! -end of random rant-). And they are not young anymore. (bursts out laughing again x3) lol! i just cannot stop laughing whenever i think of that translation LOL sorry sorry. HAHA.
And fufufu, it wouldn't be me posting if there's no Uruha around ne~ Leaving you with this damn
fucking hot clip of him in their single, 「体温」 (Taion) with his guitar:

Oh god. oh god oh god oh god. -nosebleeds- he is so hot i love the guitar, HELLION AHHHHHH! @#@$@#!@#!@ ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
-dead--revives- i made a new wallie for my dekstop, of him posing with his HELLION. MEGA HOT. fufufu. -noms Uruha's fingers-

POST-FIRST DAY
HAHA OK GREAT. i just blogged a few hours ago
-points below- and i'm back from school. yeah. (laughs frantically)
my lecture was supposedly 4pm to 6pm. it ended at 4:43pm. lol. yeah that's my first day of school life in uni. hahahahaha (laughs even more frantically)
but the lecturer was funny, and it's interesting. oh, so much more interesting. i like all these questions that make you think, instead of just looking at words and more words with no intellectual debate to think about. well but it was only an intro lecture... so nothing was really touched on yet. in fact nothing was taught (laughs) what did i find so interesting or intellectual? ohmygod i don't remember LOL. but haha there is a big difference between uni lectures and your college lectures. weeee. ah, i think it's just the style. shrugs.
yay, now to teleport into the alternate world again LOL wow i enjoy this! HAHAHA!

Hohoho. first day of university life... in less than 3 hours. kind of happy the first lecture i'm attending is the history one. however... no one's taking that module with me.
oh well. i'll know some of those taking this module eventually.
Actually when i think about it, going to uni now makes me feel like i'm returning back to society. HAHA. i've been in this tiny world of mine for too long. I can feel all the social norms and stigma flowing in my veins again
ohmaigawd. (laughs)
OH! btw my stuff's all mailed out. all on planes. so... yeah. i think there will be a line of mailmen at my door this week. HEHEHE.

went out with my 3am buddy Eric on Sunday
(national day btw) and he made fun of my Rilakkuma :( because i hang my rilakkuma doll on my
Burberry bag.
...but i love Rilakkuma T_T
that was a random rant to keep all of you entertainedwell anyway Sunday was fun. (:

R.I.P. Jasmine You.

2009.8.9 更新
「Versailles」
Translation:
2009.8.9
「Versailles」 Urgent Announcement
Though Jasmine You had taken time off in order to rest because of poor physical condition, we received a report that early in the morning on August 9th, he died. Because of the extreme abruptness of this news, the members and staff are all dumbfounded and trying hard to accept this it.
As soon as his family has been notified and updated as to the details and we receive their permission, we will further report to all of the fans.
Moreover, with the current announcement, in regards to activity, please allow us to postpone it.
The above information was taken from a
Versailles community, and it was said this was taken from their official homepage. Their official homepage has been removed now, so i don't know how i can verify the information, or whether it's a mistake or anything.
Okay, honestly, Jasmine You freaks me out with the extremity of his makeup. Versailles isn't exactly my cup of tea too. However, i do acknowledge their popularity and they have the skills. They are a really good band - i do respect Hizaki's guitaring skills. so this news, if it's true, is a real shock.
I did feel abit saddened when i read about this. I hope it's not true. He is still young and this is too sudden. but now we can only sit and wait for more news... and Versailles fans, if you ever come across this page, calm down, and just... wait for more news. And if it's true - all of us will give our deepest condolences to the band and to his family, ne? All of you must stay strong together and support each other, and the other band members as well.

And Time Waits for Nobody
edit: NEW LAYOUT. <3 Tell me you love it.
/edit-transports back to the present-
now my very exciting blog will become dull again because there's no more Tokyo trips to blog about. so there won't be pictures, there will be tons of words. HAHAHA. emaine is going to die from reading, but then again i don't think anybody reads every single word ne~ but if you are close to me you should know i do enjoy talking to myself sometimes. or rather i hold conversations with myself frequently. so i guess this works pretty well AHAHAHA.
Well anyway i went for jap class today.
Next week is my exams. Next week is my exams.Next week is my exams.
Next week is my exams.
Next week is my exams.
OMG NEXT WEEK IS MY EXAMS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. ok great i hope i don't fail this cos this time round i will get a proper cert if i pass it so yeah i can't fail i can't fail!!!
not to mention university is starting for me on the coming Tuesday. I have to go for lessons and *sigh* back to school again. then spend my free time studying jap. all this means less time for gazette :( i'm so sad. i feel like crying this very moment. i'll make sure i bring tons of Uruha/Ruki/Kai/Reita/Aoi goodness with me whenever, wherever. so at any point i miss them i can see them in some sort of way ;_; -filled with sadness, life goes into a DIM stage-
Okay so after jap class yuanshan and i went to kino cos she was gonna get some magazines. then we bought crepes to eat and we were sitting at this bench while yuanshan fangirl over Koichi and stuffs and i just accompany her and glance at her magazines too. Then she was flipping REALLY QUICKLY, through these pages and omg i cannot believe my eyes! for that instant, that VERY VERY INSTANT, there was this black and white page. i went "OMG IS THAT GAZETTE?!" and omg -
IT IS THEM!THEY ARE ON A JPOP MAGAZINE. i was like OMG OMG OMG OMG -hyperventilates, scares the shit out of the auntie who was sitting beside me- i mean can you imagine! admist that sea of Johnny's Entertainment dudes, there they are. a visual kei band. all dark and make-up-ful and everything. right smack in the one of the pages in the middle of that magazine.
i was so proud of them. i don't know if it's the first time they made it, but i'm sure it's my first time seeing a vkei band in there. i felt so happy and proud of them, i can fangirl to my very last breath for their achievements hahaha.
then, yest i received a comment from rawkstarr23~ she calculated the shipping cost of the artbook alr~ gonna get my artbook soon yay! then it's time to meet yiteng and cousin to fangirl over all those stuffzxzx.
AND. EBAY, i will eat you up ONE DAY. i bought tons of gazette stuff online, haggling for past issues of rock and read, zy issues and stuff. HAHA. i was so pissed. but i got a few that i really wanted. so happy!
but cos of everything i've mentioned, i'm officially broke. dead broke. heavily in debt. Yeah. can't go shopping etc alr ah. and most prob i should even stop dreaming of attending the matenrou opera x deluhi twoman live. i don't even have money to fly to kuala lumpur now. HAHAHA. but yeah. sigh~ gonna be pretty quiet for awhile, so sorry to those ppl who always wait for my gazette goodies. after all the stuff and feasting i'm giving you all for this round... im gonna be quite dry for awhile xD we can always fangirl over old stuff tho. AHAHA.
and a big
THANK YOU to those who clicked on my chibi Uruha~ it has 'hatched' out of the DIM box ^-^ now it's a baby. now to wait for it to become a sexy adult. AHAHA. arigato ne~

The dream which I should keep
DAY SEVEN [20090726]: Back To Harajuku + Ueno Park
Took the JR Line down to
Harajuku again. This time round, we got there without the peak hour crowd! i took pictures of the posters again - nicely this time. Hehehe. Well anyway, made our way down to the hairdressing salon -
Watanabe Hairdressing

Hohoho, haircut! well basically what i did was point to a picture of Uruha (i bought their magazines there HAHAHA) and my hairdresser - Name's
Momoi - took awhile to look at it, and told me my length is not long enough. BAH! yes i know it's not long enough! why the hell did Uruha get that asymmetrical length! i am short of about one inch for the longer side! then Momoi went on to just let me know the style of it and my previous hairstyle's about the same... so he'll just work in the length and layers for me etc. Of course it wasn't a COMPLETE REPLICA of his hair la... naturally my hair and his have tons of difference. Starting from the fact that i have WAVY HAIR, and on and on and on. So yeahh.
Well anyway, cousin had a haircut too~ hers was more carefree? hahaha. she basically just wanted to chop off the split ends and told her hairdresser to do whatever she wants - just make sure her hair is still long. yeap. One thing about Japanese hairdressers are that they are very very careful and meticulous. The moment Momoi started washing my hair he noticed my piercings and was very careful with it. For once i don't have to worry about them pulling any of them out. Even during the haircutting process he remembered and was extra careful when combing my hair on the left side. They were also very flexible - Momoi cut my hair without a parting so that my hair can fall naturally and have a lift in volume too. Cousin noticed that in her hairdresser as well. Singapore hairdressers tend to give u a parting even when you say you don't have one - they just somehow CANNOT cut without a parting. oh well.
We paid 6,500 yen each for the haircut. It's about... Singapore 100 bucks. The exchange rate's not very favourable this time round so everything seems hell expensive. Well anyway. Watanabe's kind of like a high-end salon, and i think they do have some international reputation. They're like voted on Forbes as the best hairdresser in Tokyo. If anyone's interested, you can visit their
website!

We walked up to
Yoyogi Park, hoping to see some Cosplayers, live bands and the subculture grouops. Unfortunately, i think the weather made all of them stay at home. only saw 1 group of cosplayers, hiding in the shade, and another trio in vkei dressing and hair. Cousin and I went back to Ueno after this.

We later found out from this time display that the weather was 35deg celsius. Who the hell would cosplay under such weather la! and cousin and i finally understood why we were sweating buckets after walking like only 10mins. also, it was cloudless. made things worse.

Once in
Ueno Park we were really relieved that there was shade. Hahaha. we were really burning, toasted under the hot sun. They have a few shrines/temples within Ueno Park too, so they do have a mini Summer Festival kind of celebration as well. Tons of Willow trees too. Willow tree, willow tree~

Had more Takoyaki. The one from Sensoji were nicer though~

My last minute buys from Harajuku~ Tell me the purfume bottle's pretty! hahaha! no la i didn't buy it just for the bottle. Obviously i liked the scent too. It was sooooo my kind of scent. Hohoho. lucky!
Well yeah Day 7 was just like that. It was a relaxing day. And we left it pretty empty so that we don't hafta rush our haircut too. It was nice just taking a walk in the park as well. Not much details to post that's why it's kinda short, but basically we walked around for about 2 hours? yeah.
DAY EIGHT [20090727]: LAST DAY! Back Home...
Woke up, checked out, left our luggage with the counter and walked down the street to the Post Office to post Ling's letter. Yay! v^-^v

Hung out at a restaurant and had early brunch (techinically breakfast la... but haha). I had Beef Stew with Omu Rice! yum yum yum. I nomnomnom-ed it down (anyway, my fave sound-word now is
nom ahahah! cos i saw Uruha nom-ed his guitar pick i was like aaaaaahhhhhh so cute xD -faints- lol! and uhh... honestly i've always liked seeing ppl nom things... is that weird. lol.) Cousin had risotto with crab meat.

When it was past noon we made our way back to the hotel and to the skyliner to get to the airport. Omg la. luggage too heavy. So tiring to even drag it on wheels to the skyliner station. Hahahaha. but oh well we made it. Hoho. Then it was the feeling of saying byebye to Tokyo :(

Well this basically concludes my Tokyo trip - it was an unforgettable experience for sure. It was really really wonderful. I can be quite sure I'll be flying there whenever i get the chance and money to! Ahhh.
Notes about the present:
I met yiteng today at kino for the first time hahahaha to pass her some of my mags and let her spazz over her reita. and yeahhh.
i'm very pissed that people are just basically outbidding me in Ebay for every good i want - i am so goddamn pissed. Damn pissed. THEY ARE STILL OUTBIDDING ME FOR LIKE EVERY SINGLE ITEM I SET MY EYES ON. ahhhhhhh. damn pissed!!!!
yeah it's 5am yay time to sleep.

In The Middle of Chaos
DAY SIX [20090725]: Natsumatsuri & Odaiba

My trip to Tokyo was really kind of lucky in a sense that many events and stuff were happening all within that week. We had two lives (and so lucky that my cousin and i both got to see our fave bands - we missed
Nightmare's by just one week too btw) and it happened that the weekend we were spending in Japan was also their
Natsumatsuri (Summer Festival). So cousin and i made a trip to
Asakusa, which is in a walkable distance from our Ueno neighbourhood, to visit their famous
Sensoji Temple.

It was really reaaaaaally crowded. Once you enter the temple you see the first walkway being a sheltered market kind of setting. You have many stores there selling different stuff - tea leaves and canisters, dried goodies, handmade accessories etc.

Many girls were in their Yukatas, some guys too. It was cute to see couples come in Yukatas together too! Some were really sweet.

After the sheltered market walkway, it was an open area with many food stalls and some game stalls too. Cousin and I bought takoyaki to try! Nomnomnom. Better than Singapore's! But according to cousin, lousier than Osaka's! lol.

I had a go at the lot thingy. You know, the chinese thingy where you make a donation then u shake this can and wait for a lot (which looks like a chopstick) to drop out, then get ur reading...

i got a damn good reading la! lol. anyway click on the pic if u wanna read - thre's actually some english translation there to tell me what it means! Wow, if my life is so smooth-sailing i'll be like, wow. LOL

cousin's try didn't go that smoothly tho. Got an unlucky one. So she tied it - you're supposed to like tie the bad ones.

After the whole temple visiting thingy we headed for
Odaiba. Crossed the Tokyo bay ne~ it was quite a beautiful view. Saw the
Rainbow Bridge too, but too bad it was in the day - not lit up and stuff.

ahh, Odaiba feels exactly like Singapore's CBD ne? in terms of the landscape. i felt like i was in Singapore. lol. the crowd wasn't there though~ just a little bit. not as packed as Singapore's.

we had lunch at Yoshinoya. Then we were walking towards
Palette Town when we saw this
GUNDAM Truck that serves as advertisements. i rmb gazette using this for Guren too! AHHH.

Saw the famous Ferris Wheel too~ this was already in Palette Town.
Venus Fort is located in the Palette Town vicinity too!

Ah! we saw this livehouse,
Zepp Tokyo! Many bands have performed here before too~ but no we didn't go for a third live (laughs) we just happened to see it. we didn't know it was located here.

Venus Fort's this shopping mall.. but what is special is the architecture. It was really really pretty. There wasn't much to shop here unfortunately. It does have the punk brand
Royal Order though. Some international brand names like Mango too.
Well Day 6 was... a really normal day. We were normal tourists, and just... well it wasn't that exciting. Except the morning cos it was abt the traditional stuff.

Well we're pretty much done with our trip after Day Six - there was only the trip back to Harajuku for our haircut the next day, and 2 days later flying back to Singapore. These are my cousin's buys for the whole trip!

And these are my buys for the whole trip after 6 days! xD wahaha! Well of course there were some last minute buys in Harajuku the nxt day, but yeah this is the overall.
That's it for Day 6! Yeah, not a very special day honestly ^^;
Well just starting from ytd there was this discussion about my DIM album, so i thought it'd be nice to show yokkax (if u ever come back lol) and aki what i got from Brand-X's goodies when i ordered my first press DIM from them.

i got a poster, desk calendar, sticker, cellphone sticker, and a random gift from them.

This is the DIM album... which i'm sure all of you know. LOL.

i didn't take a photo of my full poster cos i haven't taken it out from the packaging lol! but basically it's the overused official picture as above~ the same ones found on their myspace too~

Sticker that was given~

this is the cellphone sticker. well, i assume it's the size for a docomo (MORE REASON FOR ME TO GET MYSELF A DOCOMO). i dont think the image shows it very well but it's like a cellphone screen sticker... then it has the logo of the gazette. yeah. well you'll still be able to see through it, because i had a NANA one on my previous phone.. so yeah.

This is the desk calendar. It's like postcards, then with a transparent cover stand. I took out all the cards and took a photo of it to show you guys. Yup. It starts from October 2009 tho. Ends April 2010.

And this is the random gift i got - i got a sticker that was from the Regret era. I think it's their way of clearing those unwanted stock. Yup.
That's the stuff i got! and my day 6 in Japan. I hope it wasn't too boring ^^; ehehe. Take care ne minasan~
