The dream which I should keep
DAY SEVEN [20090726]: Back To Harajuku + Ueno Park
Took the JR Line down to
Harajuku again. This time round, we got there without the peak hour crowd! i took pictures of the posters again - nicely this time. Hehehe. Well anyway, made our way down to the hairdressing salon -
Watanabe Hairdressing

Hohoho, haircut! well basically what i did was point to a picture of Uruha (i bought their magazines there HAHAHA) and my hairdresser - Name's
Momoi - took awhile to look at it, and told me my length is not long enough. BAH! yes i know it's not long enough! why the hell did Uruha get that asymmetrical length! i am short of about one inch for the longer side! then Momoi went on to just let me know the style of it and my previous hairstyle's about the same... so he'll just work in the length and layers for me etc. Of course it wasn't a COMPLETE REPLICA of his hair la... naturally my hair and his have tons of difference. Starting from the fact that i have WAVY HAIR, and on and on and on. So yeahh.
Well anyway, cousin had a haircut too~ hers was more carefree? hahaha. she basically just wanted to chop off the split ends and told her hairdresser to do whatever she wants - just make sure her hair is still long. yeap. One thing about Japanese hairdressers are that they are very very careful and meticulous. The moment Momoi started washing my hair he noticed my piercings and was very careful with it. For once i don't have to worry about them pulling any of them out. Even during the haircutting process he remembered and was extra careful when combing my hair on the left side. They were also very flexible - Momoi cut my hair without a parting so that my hair can fall naturally and have a lift in volume too. Cousin noticed that in her hairdresser as well. Singapore hairdressers tend to give u a parting even when you say you don't have one - they just somehow CANNOT cut without a parting. oh well.
We paid 6,500 yen each for the haircut. It's about... Singapore 100 bucks. The exchange rate's not very favourable this time round so everything seems hell expensive. Well anyway. Watanabe's kind of like a high-end salon, and i think they do have some international reputation. They're like voted on Forbes as the best hairdresser in Tokyo. If anyone's interested, you can visit their
website!

We walked up to
Yoyogi Park, hoping to see some Cosplayers, live bands and the subculture grouops. Unfortunately, i think the weather made all of them stay at home. only saw 1 group of cosplayers, hiding in the shade, and another trio in vkei dressing and hair. Cousin and I went back to Ueno after this.

We later found out from this time display that the weather was 35deg celsius. Who the hell would cosplay under such weather la! and cousin and i finally understood why we were sweating buckets after walking like only 10mins. also, it was cloudless. made things worse.

Once in
Ueno Park we were really relieved that there was shade. Hahaha. we were really burning, toasted under the hot sun. They have a few shrines/temples within Ueno Park too, so they do have a mini Summer Festival kind of celebration as well. Tons of Willow trees too. Willow tree, willow tree~

Had more Takoyaki. The one from Sensoji were nicer though~

My last minute buys from Harajuku~ Tell me the purfume bottle's pretty! hahaha! no la i didn't buy it just for the bottle. Obviously i liked the scent too. It was sooooo my kind of scent. Hohoho. lucky!
Well yeah Day 7 was just like that. It was a relaxing day. And we left it pretty empty so that we don't hafta rush our haircut too. It was nice just taking a walk in the park as well. Not much details to post that's why it's kinda short, but basically we walked around for about 2 hours? yeah.
DAY EIGHT [20090727]: LAST DAY! Back Home...
Woke up, checked out, left our luggage with the counter and walked down the street to the Post Office to post Ling's letter. Yay! v^-^v

Hung out at a restaurant and had early brunch (techinically breakfast la... but haha). I had Beef Stew with Omu Rice! yum yum yum. I nomnomnom-ed it down (anyway, my fave sound-word now is
nom ahahah! cos i saw Uruha nom-ed his guitar pick i was like aaaaaahhhhhh so cute xD -faints- lol! and uhh... honestly i've always liked seeing ppl nom things... is that weird. lol.) Cousin had risotto with crab meat.

When it was past noon we made our way back to the hotel and to the skyliner to get to the airport. Omg la. luggage too heavy. So tiring to even drag it on wheels to the skyliner station. Hahahaha. but oh well we made it. Hoho. Then it was the feeling of saying byebye to Tokyo :(

Well this basically concludes my Tokyo trip - it was an unforgettable experience for sure. It was really really wonderful. I can be quite sure I'll be flying there whenever i get the chance and money to! Ahhh.
Notes about the present:
I met yiteng today at kino for the first time hahahaha to pass her some of my mags and let her spazz over her reita. and yeahhh.
i'm very pissed that people are just basically outbidding me in Ebay for every good i want - i am so goddamn pissed. Damn pissed. THEY ARE STILL OUTBIDDING ME FOR LIKE EVERY SINGLE ITEM I SET MY EYES ON. ahhhhhhh. damn pissed!!!!
yeah it's 5am yay time to sleep.
