A Sense of Beauty... Supply & Demand
DAY THREE [20090722]: Mega Shibuya Shopping
Ahh,
Shibuya. Filled with shopping. We kind of woke up abit later for this day, since the two days previously tire me and my cousin out quite abit.

had Tonkatsu at this nearby food ticket restaurant (i dono what the Japanese call that). It's like those where you put money in press for a ticket (basically a ticket vending machine) and then u pass the ticket to the chef and they'll cook it for you. It was super delicious! plus it's the first time i actually drank miso soup and finished it. Usually in Singapore the miso soup has this powdery cloud thingy and i rmb the first time i tasted miso soup i hate it. it was horrible. i never tasted it again. But in Japan i decided to have another try, and also because the soup was clear - totally clear without that powder thing - i tried. AND IT WAS GOOD! like what the! the things we are tasting out there in this world is not close to the real Jap stuff at all! lol.

Took a train down and reached Shibuya! Man it was crowded. we were there when the summer holidays were in place. i think that explains the crowd. Well anyway, it was like tall buildings tall buildings and more tall buildings... with many many many giant screens and celebrity giant posters and advertisements hohoho.

OMG -fangirl spasms- while me and cousin were waiting for cross the road, i was just blindly staring into space and then one of the screens (to be exact it's the glico screen) started playing an advertisement for
the GazettE's -DIM SCENE- tour final by the time i noticed i was like "AHHHHHHHH!" -tugs cousin's sleeve frantically- and i bet the whole of shibuya was looking at me lol! and then cousin took her cam out to take a pic but when she snapped she only managed to capture a black screen LOL but!! the gazette's logo is like still there.
BUT! it is blocked by the damn tree (as you can see in the pic). LOL. how unlucky can we be. HAHAHA

my first stop was
Tower Records and once we entered the shop, we saw the ceiling filled with DIM advertisements. Then we saw the free magazine with the boys on cover -took them- haha. Then while walking around, we saw this corner dedicated to their new album. They placed all the mags that featured them and their stuff there. I was like "waaaaaa~ sugoi!~" xD

went to the 2nd floor to browse CDs, and i managed to find most of the stuff Yuanshan wanted. Then cousin and i went to browse the JRock section. Managed to get my Arena37 here. I ended up getting Neogenesis (where the boys are in too, just not on cover) and a past issue of SHOCKwave with Kai on cover. Then at this corner there was a polaroid section of bands that graced Tower Records before. I was staring at it and found gazette in the middle (leech era look). Hehe. anyway other bands like Nightmare, D, Dir En Grey and Kagrra were also up that wall.

After Tower Records we walked around while making our way to
HMV. Then we entered Seibu and shopped abit, and some small stores. Then while walking halfway i looked into one of the small alleys and OMG i saw these billboards of the GazettE! i was just talkin to cousin and i screamed "OMG! AHHHHHHH" -pulls cousin's hand and run down the alley- lol. i dono why the first feeling and thought i had was "omg i'm so proud of them" haha no meaning but yeah. i was really feeling so proud of them. to make it this big. and then cousin told me two men in suits were behind us, and they got a shock and was staring at me LOL. but i don't care! i was a really happy girl ^^

yeahhh they're featured in HMV too! but HMV don't have them featured as large scale as Tower Records.

Crossed the street and headed to
Tsutaya Records nearby. They have a section dedicated to them too~ ah~~ it was gazeheaven for me! shibuya was filled with them!

cousin and i then took a break at the starbucks inside Tsutaya. had a nice view down to the famous Shibuya crossing. It's really packed with people. So basically cousin and i just people watched and rested our feet. Saw some bishounen (woo) and a man in a long skirt-like thingy. My first thought was
"Aoi-shi in Regret!" lol! shit ahahahha. then we snapped pics of him - totally like a stalker. oh well. lol.

after the break cousin and i walked down Shibuya and along
Omotesando/Aoyama. Visited Vivienne Westood's flagship store. Saw this bag... cousin almost got it. It was damn cute. but we alr bought a burberry EACH. so we were like.. ok la no la. lol!

My Burberry blue label and also, of course, magazine buys for the day - yay. filled with gazelove! So happy. In terms of quantity shibuya def lost out to ikebukuro... but i think value-wise it's quite a match ^^; ahahaha~
Ah tons of walking and stuff. We were pretty tired despite resting our feet. and we spent too much time in Shibuya lol! so we skipped
Shimokitazawa which we originally planned to visit after Shibuya. Oh well~ But it was quite a luxurious day in Shibuya for sure ^^
The next day in Tokyo will contain another live that i attended there - so guys please wait for it ne! it'll be
Matenrou Opera's First Oneman Live Report! so yeah. Hehe.
